The Health Through Communications Foundation was founded in 1993 by Dr. Carolle Jean-Murat, MD, a Haitian healer living in San Diego, California. The HTCF supports community efforts to provide personal development, educational and economic opportunities as well as healthcare access to women and children around the world. We believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to achieve and enjoy a happy, healthy and productive life.
Global Citizenship, Self-Confidence and Leadership Skills
The Health Through Communications Foundation provides after-school enrichment classes in San Diego and Poway. Activities promote citizenship, leadership skills, collaboration, anti-bullying, global awareness, communication skills and mindfulness training for children and teens in grades K-12.

Developing Global Leaders
We understand that the physical, mental, spiritual and financial well-being of individuals directly impacts their ability to recognize and maximize opportunities available to them, and to succeed in their lives.
